Outside Areas of our Nursery

Our Nursery has two fantastic secure outdoor play areas and a large car park, which provide learning and challenging opportunities to all our children.

At the rear of our nursery, is our toddler and baby outdoor play area.  Separated into two areas, including a reading den and mud kitchen.

Preschool enjoy the front outdoor play area with a large climbing frame and tyre fun.

Children enjoy and are encouraged to be out in all weathers.  We enjoy collecting leaves, riding on bikes, crawling through tunnels, picnics, and bug hunts. We challenge children to climb and balance using alternate feet.

Children learn about the environment while outdoors, we talk about things we see in the sky such as transport and birds.  We also have our very own ‘allotment,’ growing our own vegetables.
